The facility was built to meet the needs of organized community youth sports groups as first priority. The project began as the Sports and Aquatics Center and will ultimately present a cohesive project once it is completely built out. The improvements made in this phase feature:
- Two Synthetic Turf Fields with lights
- BBQ area
- Drinking Fountains
- Restrooms
- Family Changing Rooms
- Announcers stand at main field
- Electronic Scoreboards
- Participant misters
- Players’ team benches
- Meeting/workroom with ticket window
- Bleachers for 600 on main field with shade structure
- Bleachers for 200 on secondary field with shade structure
- Concessions area with ice machine, refrigeration, and preparation space
- Parking for 325 spaces; 50 street spaces not including Aquatics area

Football, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey players are in for a sports treat when they step onto the two, state of the art, synthetic turf fields. Both full-size fields are marked for multi-sport use complete with bleachers, field lights, player benches, portable public announcement systems, water misters, water fountains, and scoreboards.

A concession stand is available for rent to user groups. Spectators and players will enjoy the picnic area that provides views to the playing fields. Restrooms complete with family changing rooms are now available. A brand new parking lot has been installed complete with street and sidewalk improvements. There is easy walking access to the City of Morgan Hill’s Aquatics Center which will be a terrific treat during those hot summer game days.
