Mary Nguyen, Health and Fitness Director
M.S.S., Sport Management, BS Exercise Physiology,
AA Latin American Studies, CPT NSCA, CPT Scirion Institute
of Exercise Physiology.
I earned my Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from California
State University, Chico in 2000. I also earned my M.S.S
in Sport Management in 2005 and have been supervising
and directing staff. My background includes 12 years
of personal training from private to public sectors in
the fitness industry. I grew up an athlete and have always
been passionate about great health and wellness; so becoming
a personal trainer was natural. I am CPT certified through
Scirion Institute of Exercise Physiology and the National
Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA). They’re
both recognized and have the highest certification standards
and guidelines in the industry. Both require a 4-year
degree to qualify for the certification as well continuing
education courses to stay current and focus in the industry’s
trends and changes. My clients vary from 8 to 60 years
of age. They’re athletes and non-athletes; sport-specific
individuals or just your simple health seeker. I love
what I do because I’m able to make a difference
whether huge or small. |

Terri Wright, Fitness Coordinator
ACE-CPT 2000, Certified
Group Exercise instructor since 1995, Water Aerobic Instructor
since 1998, and Sara City Yoga and Yoga Fit/Pilates Certified
instructor since 2003. Certified Group Exercise Instructor
Trainer since 2003.
I majored in Nutrition at De Anza College.
I have worked in group settings and personal training.
I’ve been practicing Yoga since 2002 and have studied
Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga. I am currently becoming an apprentice
for Anusara Yoga and have completed 200 hours of Yoga Alliance
and Yoga Village. I am on a journey to becoming a Anusara
Instructor. I’ve been personal training for the CRC
since opening in October of 2006. In my free time, I enjoy
spending quality time with family, studying yoga, quilting
and gardening.

Pamela Langone-Umanzio,
Fitness Coordinator
Health & Fitness has always been a part of my life.
I have had a passion for fitness training for many
years and have personally trained friends & family
members which I have found to be very rewarding prior
to my professional career.
I enjoy helping people achieve their personal fitness
goals and ultimately enriching their lives. I am a Certified
Personal Trainer through AFAA.
